Time’s running out. The Net Zero policies have flooded the government entities’ agendas and the private companies’ business plans. The green transition is happening and everyone is called to play their part, in a process affecting not only environmental, energy, and sustainability-supportive policies but has numerous implications ranging from B2B relationships to retail sales.
We will start by comparing the current situation in different states and then discuss the major legal activities that will be required by energy companies, commercial firms, and investors in the sector.
Whether it’s verifying whether a project is truly “green”; supporting financial investors to overcome existing gaps blocking plant development; or implementing new commercial policies to achieve Net Zero Carbon in the supply chain, there are many legal challenges that we will be called upon to answer.
This joint session organised by the Environmental and Energy Law, Real Estate, and T.R.A.D.E. (Trade, Retail, Agency, Distribution, E-commerce) Commissions will start from Net Zero and its chain of implications to discuss the legal challenges we young lawyers will have to face in the coming years to do our part in the green transition and stay ahead of the curve of the legal market.
