Natalija Popović Maksimović
Popovic, Popovic & Partners, Serbia
Natalija specialises in IP law. She is a registered in the Serbian IPO as a representative for patents, trademarks and designs, as well as a licensed mediator specialised for IP. Natalija joined AIJA in 2016, since when she was an active member. She was a local representative for Serbia since 2019 until 2021. If elected she is looking forward to forwarding the AIJA spirit and all core values of our favourite association.
MichaEl Eitle

I have been an AIJA member since 2018 and immediately fell in love with the AIJA spirit. Over the years, I have participated in several ACs, HYCs and seminars, including various speaking engagements as a moderator and panelist. I was a member of the organising committee of the M&A Winter Seminar 2023, session coordinator for the M&A Commission of the HYC in Edinburgh, and I am currently on the OC of the HYC in Hamburg 2025. I am keen to take an active role on the Executive Committee to help shape the future of our beloved association and contribute to its ongoing success. As a Swiss lawyer, I specialise in venture capital, domestic and international M&A, and private equity transactions, alongside asset finance and corporate finance transactions.

Julio is an attorney with more than fifteen years of experience in Regulatory Law Law, Health and Life Sciences Law, Compliance and Anti-Corruption, and Philanthropy. Julio works as Counsel at Arochi & Lindner. In the past he worked as Junior Counsel at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San José, Costa Rica; and as Senior Associate at Basham, Ringe y Correa where he had a foreign professional exchange with the firm FRORIEP in Geneva, Switzerland. He is a full member of the International Bar Association, the International Association of Young Lawyers, the Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados where he heads the Administrative Law Commission and an active member of the Mexican Bar Association, where he was founding Coordinator of the Health Commission. Since 2021 he has been consistently ranked as a leading lawyer for “Life Sciences” in Latin America by Chambers & Partners; who in 2022 also recognized him as a “Thought leader” in the field.

Isabelle is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team and the Banking, Finance & FinTech Team of Altenburger’s Zurich office in Switzerland. She advises clients in Switzerland and abroad on domestic and international litigation, debt enforcement and contract law with a focus on international commercial disputes. Isabelle also has extensive experience in internal and regulatory investigations, including anti-money laundering, and in white-collar crime matters. She has been an AIJA member since 2023.
Rachel Tao
Hui Ye Law Firm, China
I am a partner at Hui Ye Law Firm and based in Shanghai. As a PRC lawyer, I am specialized in international dispute resolution, international trade and distribution, and cross-border investment. Although my AIJA involvement begins only in 2023, I have been proactively participating in major AIJA events in other continents, including in the annual congresses in Rio and Madrid as panel speaker. Fascinated by the chemistry of the AIJA community, I would like to become more “AIJA” through active role on the EC and contribute from Asian perspective. I would be honored to devote more time to the operation of our association, support other EC members and promote AIJA in China and Asia.

Adam is a partner at Herzog, Fox Neeman, based in Tel Aviv. A dual qualified lawyer (England & Wales and Israel), Adam specializes in international M&A and VC transactions. Adam joined AIJA in 2019 and currently serves as AIJA’s local representative for Israel. As well as being a speaker at previous AIJA events, Adam was a member of the organizing committee for the 2023 venture capital seminar held in Barcelona and would be honoured to continue his AIJA journey as a member of the executive committee.
Neha Saraswat
Neha is a distinguished Intellectual Property lawyer with over 20 years of experience and is the Managing Partner at Saraswat & Co., Advocates & IP Attorneys. She has skillfully managed a diverse array of cases before Indian tribunals and High Courts, playing a pivotal role in numerous IP enforcement actions. She is also an active member of various bar associations, local management associations, and international lawyers’ organizations. In addition to her legal expertise, Neha is a certified Yoga instructor, accredited by the Indian Government, and a lifetime member of the Indian Yoga Association. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she led global online yoga and meditation sessions, offering support and resilience to those facing difficult times. Deeply committed to social responsibility, Neha is also actively engaged in various pro bono activities. She is committed to spreading the AIJA’s activities in India and Asia Pacific region.
Sebastian wyler
I am an Associate at the Swiss business law firm Homburger in Zurich. My preferred practice areas are dispute resolution matters, employment, debt collection and bankruptcy issues. Further, I also have working experience in Corporate / M&A. I represent and defend the interests of my clients with a high level of dedication and integrity at all times. My alma mater is the University of Basel, where I completed my Master of Law in 2017. In fall 2018, I was admitted to the Swiss bar and have been practicing as attorney-at-law since 2019. Further, I hold an LL.M. diploma in American Law from Boston University (MA, USA). I joined AIJA in 2024 for multiple reasons, but mainly in order to meet like-minded young lawyers from all around the world. Besides AIJA, I am also a member of the Swiss Bar Association and the Zurich Bar Association.
ELENA PINTEA-PUSHKIN
Elena is a counsel at Racine, a French business law firm based in Paris. She has extensive experience in representing companies at critical stages of their development, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and strategic alliances in France and abroad. She advises companies on a wide range of general corporate matters and is particularly active in the life sciences, real estate and services sectors. Elena has been a speaker at past AIJA events and would be delighted to continue her involvement with AIJA by becoming a member of the executive committee. She looks forward to playing a role in shaping the future of our esteemed association and supporting its ongoing achievements.
Mathieu de Korvin-Krokowski
Mathieu is a Corporate / M&A lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright in Paris. He advises companies, investors and start-up founders in their M&A and fundraising transactions. In particular, he has a broad experience in assisting foreign clients in their cross-border transactions and corporate reorganizations involving the French jurisdiction. Mathieu has assisted leading banking and financial institutions, as well as start-ups and major groups from other industries such as healthcare and life sciences, digital and telecommunications, consumer goods and services. Moreover, he has a particular interest in the legal developments related to innovations such as blockchain, and their impact on corporate law practice and M&A transactions. Alongside his activities, he regularly speaks at the Paris Bar School on M&A-related topics. As an EC member, he is eager to take a more active part in the life of the association and to contribute to its development on a global scale.
Nikki Vreede
I am Nikki Vreede, an immigration lawyer based in Amsterdam. Despite only having joined AIJA in 2022, I have been able to attend many seminars and conferences, jointly host a home hospitality dinner at the The Hague HYC and be part of the OC of June’s 2024 seminar in Rotterdam. I am really looking forward to getting to know AIJA more and more and contribute to this amazing organization that stole my heart!
Julie Kölzer-Warnecke
Julie Kölzer-Warnecke graduated from the University of Trier with both law degrees and completed her legal traineeship in Trier, Luxembourg and Paris. She was admitted to the bar in both Germany and Luxembourg in 2016. She also holds a Master’s degree (Master I) in Criminal Law from the University Montesquieu Bordeaux IV in France. She has in-depth knowledge of private international law and commercial contract law. Her part-time employment in a Luxembourg commercial law firm and her internship in an asset management company have given her practical experience in the field of investment funds. As an associate at M&S, Julie Kölzer-Warnecke is particularly active in the areas of contract law, corporate law, private international law and employment law.
Monika Křižánková
Monika Křižánková specializes in public law, specifically in construction law, real estate law, environmental law, and administrative law. During her practice she has been involved in providing legal services mainly in the area of construction law in connection with development projects in the Czech Republic. Her work included comprehensive legal services, including environmental advice (EIA), representation of clients in obtaining and amending building permits and the necessary representation of clients before administrative authorities and in the administrative justice system. She also provides legal support to Polish investors coming into the Czech Republic market.
Nathalie Sabrina Weiss
Nägele Attorneys at Law, Liechtenstein
Nathalie is admitted to the Bar in Liechtenstein as a Resident European lawyer, but also as a lawyer in Austria. After graduating in Vienna, she worked in various law firms there before moving to Liechtenstein, where she has been working at Naegele Attorneys at Law since the beginning of 2023. She has several years of experience in the areas of civil and (commercial) criminal law in two jurisdictions and specializes in particular in litigation in all instances. During her career, she has therefore advised and represented both private individuals and companies in highly complex civil and commercial criminal law cases. In addition, during her career she has dealt intensively with the field of “legal tech” and AI, which is why she also has extensive knowledge in this area.
Nathalie has only been a member of the AIJA since the annual congress in Rio 2023, but has since then participated in various other events (Seminar in Vaduz, HYC Paris, HYC Mexico, …) and has thus become a very active member in a very short time. She now wants to become even more involved, which is why she is happy to stand for election as a member of the Executive Committee at the annual congress in Madrid.

Beatriz Sánchez Argüeso is an employment lawyer with three years in Spain. Born in Madrid, Beatriz has focused her career on defending and advising companies on complex labor issues. In addition to her passion for law, Beatriz enjoys skiing and surfing, activities that allow her to unwind and recharge in her free time. Her commitment to justice and dedication to sports reflect a balanced and determined personality, always seeking new challenges both in her professional and personal life. Beatriz was a first timer in 2022 and since then she has been coming to Aija events quite often and she will love to be more involved.

I am an enthusiastic AIJA member since 2019. Having participated in many AIJA events lately (New York, Piemonte, Paris, Belgrade, Mexico, Basel, and now Madrid), I would be delighted to be actively involved in the future of our fantastic and unique organization of like-minded, enthusiastic, and dedicated young lawyers and friends around the globe as part of the Executive Committee.

I am Corporate/M&A partner at MLL Legal Ltd (former Meyerlustenberger Lachenal Froriep) in Zurich, Switzerland. My practice focuses on Swiss and cross-border corporate and capital markets transactions, primarily M&A, strategic partnerships, and investments (PE, VC, JV). I also work on general corporate law matters, in particular in connection with complex restructurings, as well as real estate transactions. I am happy to count Swiss and foreign listed and private companies, private equity and venture capital funds, emerging companies as well as family offices and HNW individuals to my clients.

Archita is a senior associate in Trilegal’s employment law practice. Archita specializes in labour and employment laws and has been advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters and employment related aspects of immigration law. She has been involved in various matters relating to workforce management and re-structuring, compensation and benefits, reductions in force, employee-level investigations, engaging contingent workers, employee transfers, closures, and employment visa related advisory.
Archita has also worked closely with industrial bodies in making representations to the government and conducting training sessions and webinars on pertinent labour law developments in India.

I am a Corporate/M&A and restructuring lawyer with a strong commitment to AIJA and would like to be more actively involved in events from the Corporate/M&A and Insolvency Commissions.
My first AIJA experience was at the 2020 Winter Seminar in Madonna di Campiglio, which combined my professional development with my passion for skiing, and I am excited to continue contributing as an Organizing Committee Member for the 2026 Winter Seminar in Courmayeur.

The voting on other resolutions submitted to the General Assembly will be possible through electronic voting on Saturday 07 September from 10:30am to 11:30am CEST.
E-voting
The commitment of each member is crucial to the success of the whole organisation. And nowhere is this more evident than during our annual elections.
Once a year at the Annual Congress, the General Assembly of Members is called to elect some members of two very important bodies for the management of AIJA: the Executive Committee and the Bureau. In previous years this had to be done on paper, in person. But early in 2016, when AIJA launched an extensive online survey, members called for a stronger and more effective participation in the life of the association and in particular an e-voting system.
AIJA welcomed e-voting for the first time in 2018 and due to its resounding success the Association has been using it since then.
How AIJA members can vote
Electronic voting is easy – AIJA members can vote from any location, on any device. Members will receive in advance a link where they can join and watch the General Assembly, as well as the interview with the First Vice-President candidate and then vote electronically.
If AIJA members are not available to vote electronically during the elections date, they can give a proxy to another member. Instructions are available on the MyAIJA member dashboard.
