The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership.

On this basis, governments, countries, companies and also lawyers are required to work in another scenario characterised by Energy Transition.

Which instruments are used by law regulations to facilitate a “Sustainable” Energy Transition?

How companies, public and private entities are implementing compliance procedures in order to grant a sustainable workplace, gender equality and “work- life balance”?

And what is needed to become a “Sustainable Lawyer”?

Starting from this perspective we will move forward to explore what already in place and new challenges for legal profession.
